OK dumb question but I am having a really hard time installing new fuel lines, I cannot seem to get the line to go all the way up and over the tank fitting. Does anyone have any tips, tricks, or trade secrets that I can try to make this happen? Also I'm attempting this with a broken wrist and torn ligaments in my shouilder so any help would be great.
Thanks in advance

Re: fuel line installetion

I either dip the line in hot water for a couple minutes, to let it expand, or hit it with my heat gun (wifes hair dryer works too). It will then slide on like butter. Sometimes trying it cold and hard can leave your knuckles mangled :)

If you do what HighTrim says you should be able to slide it on with your teeth.(assuming they are O.K.) LOL. Hope your better soon. Best of luck. Rick.

Re: fuel line installetion

Well ther are all changed thanks to high trim they all slide on real easy the only one that gave me any trouble was the tank line and that was because of the position of the fitting and the hole I had to work thru. I do know that I caused more pain and suffering on my self, My Doc would be pissed if he knew whatr I was doing :) but I will never learn.
Anyway Thanks again High Trim.
