Hi Everyone. This forum was very helpful to me in the past so here goes another question. I have a fuel leak coming from a rubber line that I want to replace. Each end of the hose is connected with a crimp ring like the one use in plumbing water pipe that needs a special tool that was probably used in the original assembly of the motor. Is there another alternative to this connection such as zip ties, gear clamps or snap rings. Thanks in advance for your replies. Regards Charlie Quick

If its a LOW pressure fuel line then just use stainless steel hose clamp. Where is the fuel line connection points and is this a carb or EFI motor?

I use one or two zip ties on smaller fuel hoses. There are specialized versions available at marine supply shops, and those are probably preferred. (I cinch them tight using a needle nose pliers, and a bladed screwdriver.)
