Fuel line routing for "82 v6 crossflow....check valves

I am building a small bore 235. I am not using the '78 manifold because I am using the newer style lower unit(different shift style). With that being said, I have the inspection covers off of a large bore 235 that have the single drain port in it for the check valves. My manifold is also the 1982 v6 manifold(same year as the inspection covers). I used to have the papers to show me what check valve went to what inspection cover. I built a 235 a couple of years ago. But I can't find my papers for the drain lines. A friend of mine is checking to see if he has a copy, but can anyone out there shoot me a link for the pages or just tell me what check valve goes to what cover? The only thing I can remember is that the check valves did not get routed to their own cylinder(check valve #1 does not go to inspection cover #1). Thanks in advance

Does anybody out there have a diagram for the drain lines of a 1982 v6 crossflow? How about anybody memorizing the routing of what check valve to what inspection cover? I can't believe that I lost the pages.

Here goes. Coming from the intake manifold to side covers. Cyls 2 to 4. 4 to 6 and 6 to 2. Cyls 1 to 3. 3 to 5 and 5 to 1. If you can understand this, I hope it works. It's just from memory before the VRO days..

That's what I am looking for! I know exactly what you are saying: cyl 2's check valve to inspection cover #4 etc. Now, if anyone out there has the paper's for this, I will print it out and put it in my binder of the factory '85 manual. Now, why I never put my original papers in there to begin with.................that would be too much like thinking or being smart:facepalm:!! Thanks again boobie. I can at least finish my ported small bore project now..........whether I get the sheets or not.

Sorry no paper work. That answer came from memory as it was on a Master Tech test in an OMC service school back in the early '80's.

No worries about no paper work boobie. Giving me the information is more than enough. I'll just make up my own schematic(neatly) and store it in my binder. It's just always nicer to look at the factory photos...........cause usually, they are better than anything I could come up with. Before I let this thread close, anyone else out there have the schematic for the drain line routing for the check valves on a v6 crossflow(1982 to be specific)?
