This site has always been helpful, thank you so much...

Anyway, I replaced all of my fuel lines and the other day some how I cut one open, well the marina store will not have the new fuel line in until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

But I planned a camping trip for this weekend...

So I went in the garage and found some fuel line left over from my truck. If I put this hose on there. Will it affect the carb since it is a little bigger.

I figure that there may be to much air in the system, but won't it prime and fill up with fuel after priming and warm up time.

1400 Mecury inline six, middle carb.

Thank you...

If yers is a "black block", (1973 or later), then I think the size is 5/16 inch fuel line. Larger is fine but I would not go smaller. My $.02 JR
