Losing my mind here. 92 4.3 lx motor with 4 barrel carb. My sob story is i got a boat told was ready for the water....free! So after a new reman engine, ignition, outdrive rebuild, and everything else mechanical you can name, I just finished rebuilding the carb. Issue I have is that I snapped the fuel pump to carb line as the line was frozen in the b nut.
New line coming next week, in the interim I'm trying to hook up a flex line just to run the engine. However I can not for the life of me figure out the thread size to get fittings. Tried 3/8 flare and NPT. NPT is clearly way off. Flare is also NFG. Anyone know the thread size and fittings off the carb fitting (has a 4 bbl 9600s carb with a brass fitting there) and off the fuel pump fitting (same as the carb fitting).
Not looking for a permanent fix just to get the thing fuel to run to make sure all is good until I get the factory metal line next week.
Thanks
Brian
