G'day<br />I used to have a seagull years ago and it ran on a mix of 10:1, I do believe that more modern ones were rejetted and the mix was leaned to around 25:1.<br />At 10:1 mix they are very smokey and if it does not start after 3 pulls you invariable have to remove the plug and clean it. With so much oil in the system they run forever and mine happily survived total submersion on 3 occasions and started after washing in Fresh water and general cleaning up. Was not so lucky with a small Merc.
