Fuel Mixture 1969 1.5hp Johnson

Hi All<br /><br />I have recently aquired a 1.5hp Johnson Mod #1R69C (1969 I think) to go on my sons dingy. I tested the motor using a 25:1 mix, is this the correct fuel mix for this engine?<br /><br />Many Thanks<br /><br />Richard

1R69 = 1969 <br />1.5hp @ 4000 rpms<br />2.64 cu. In. = 43.26 ccm <br />1 cylinder<br /> <br />50:1 is the proper fuel/oil mix for omc's since 1966 or so.
