fuel mixture

I have a 85 2.5l and trying to set the fuel mixture screw. How do you do it the right way and or can someone tell me how many turn out do i need to start at

Ayuh,... Usually a turn, 'n 1/2, to 2 turns will get it runnin'.... then find the Sweet spot...

From all the way in and back it out that much? It runs fine just when you hit thd gas real fast it pops from the carb
