Fuel monitors?

Did a search, found nothing. I had one of these in a car and loved it, so how well does it work on boats? The cheapest one I could find is $150.

It works well, like in a car. Depends on what you expect from it.<br />I wanted to have MPG reading so I bought an expensive unit with NMEA0183 input and hooked it up to my GPS (you need MPH reading to calculate MPG).<br />If you want just an informative gauge, you can get it in the price range you stated. Mine was over $500. But it will pay for itself on longer cruises where milage plays a big role.<br />There are many manufacturers, models, features to list here. Just go to a boating store site and do some research, you'll sure find what you need.<br /><br />Hope this helps.<br />Lou
