Fuel/oil mixture

Hello, I am a new member and have a question. I have a 1989 70 HP Evinrude outboard motor. It originally was equipped with the Auto oil fuel mixing system, I think it was referred to as the VRO system. It has been disconnected and I am planning to mix the fuel in the tank myself. What is the correct mixture?<br /><br />

Chicken...<br />try mixing it 50:1. (50 parts fuel, one part oil).<br /><br />Good Luck, Obiwan
