I need to know what the best fuel / oil mixture for a 1957 10hp johnson 2 stroke outboard would be, never ran this motor before. thanks for any input.
Hey thanks for the infoThe correct mixture is 24:1 for that outboard. One quart of TCW3 outboard oil per 6 gallons of fuel.
For the second poster, 24:1 is the correct mixture for yours, too, although some do run those on 50:1. Personally, I'd use 24:1 if I had that nice outboard. Too much oil won't hurt. Too little might.
