fuel/oil ratio mercury 85

I have just bought a mercury 85, serial no. 9012052. could anyone tell me the fuel/oil mixture ratio & ant idea of age of the engine.<br /><br />Thanx, Graeme

Hi, Darlo.<br /><br />You need a 50:1 ratio. That is 20cc TC-W3 oil per litre of unleaded petrol, 91 octane by your octane method.<br /><br />Good luck.
