hey Joe,

I think they had a rust problem during storage at the 100:1.

50:1 does add quite more protection.

I've read here that 100:1 resulted in many warranty claims. Not that 100:1 was insufficient lubrication during operation, but the fuel mix didn't leave enough oil on the internal parts when not operating. The guts of the motors were rusting between uses.

Huh. I havent checked compression but i did get to run and i was using 50:1 to add lubrication after its multi year nap. Guess I'll be checking compression this weekend.
