Fuel/Oil

My mechanic suggested disconnecting oil injection system and manualing adding oil directly to fuel tank each time when fueling up. Feels fail safe sysyems are not early enough to prevent engine failure. Engine is 1999 200hp Johnson with approx. 200 hrs. Anybody agree or disagree?

Tony,<br />Do a "Search" at the top of this page on "VRO". you will get a lot of pros and cons regarding the VRO system. Personally, I did away with it. It's one less thing for me to worry about! Others disagree, and are firm believers in the system. It's a matter of preference!
