fuel or water in oil?

Hi! I have a 2012 Merc 90hp 4 stroke that i just changed the oil in. As soon as I removed the drain plug I observed yellow/gold mixture coming out along with a few very small soft chunks of something. I've had the oil changed by a shop since new every fall with nothing like this reported back to me. I've had no issues at all with the motor and it runs like a top. Just had it out a couple days ago and all was fine. Does this sound like water or fuel getting in? Something else?

I found my thermostat stuck open and I had a fault I read with my code reader for over cooling.

Thanks for that info. I hope mine is the same problem. I think the warranty runs out in 4 months so I'll be taking to the shop to get it checked out.
