Just put the boat in for the season after completing spring maintenance. Fired up perfect and after 3-4 minutes run stop engine started stalling, strong smell of gas. Took engine cover off and found that fuel pressure test port had ejected itself into engine compartment and was spraying gas all over. I was able to reinsert the unthreaded valve stem and use a small hose clamp while I hobbled in to my slip but still had some engine stalling on the way and intermitent alarm. I am assuming this is a simple part to replace but it is not even labeled, except for the capl, on the evinrude parts list. Any ideas what my cause this, maybe simple fatigue or indication of greater problem?
Only recent work was to replace plugs, water separator and reset alarm after water detection in fuel.
Thanks
