Fuel problem

I forgot in my earlier post that When I went to fill my Tank at the pump(on land) I only got 1.2 galoons in it and it started to come out vent on side of boat. Any ideas? I ran the boat a few weeks before for about 2 hrs on Lake Clarke and Should ahve used alot more fuel than that with my 5.0.

OK I just checked vent vent was plugged with one of those useless eight legged creatures nests(LOL). removed it and filled from a 5 gallon can all ok on that end. Would that also cause a problem reaching WOT?
