Have a 91 rude 225 vro is disabled. engine runs good. have a dual tank setup on a 79 mako, boat did not come with anti siphon valves only a wire mesh at the connection from tank to line. At 4000 rpm and above primer bulb collapses due to vacuum from the fuel pump. tested this and it pulls 5 psi at idle. I can feel the limiter pulses at the primer bulb at 2500 rpm. the filter is a racor and is full of fuel at all times. I don't get it! vents are working properly all I can come up with is tank debris,Any suggestiuons.

Re: fuel problem

Sounds like a kinked fuel line, or a restriction somewhere...maybe in the tank? its pulling fuel and filling the filter but its restricted someplace. try running direct to a plastic jerry can of fuel to narrow it down
