I have a 2000 johnson oceanpro and I am getting a fuel alarm. It starts up fine and runs out fine, but when i come down and idle for a minute the alarm starts. If you squeeze the primer bulb it will go away. Any suggestions? I have changed the fuel filter, changed some of the fuel lines, blown threw the fuel lines to make sure there was no blockage. Could it be carbs? It starts fine initially. Once its cooled off after running it doesn't want to start back up.
There is no VRO, it is mixed in the tank.

Thanks for the help.

Go Dawgs.

Re: Fuel Problems

Agree. Rebuilding fuel pump or a new one is the next thing to try and will most likely sove the problem.
