reman powerhead in april doing well so far.
recent gas leak, found gas leaking from small hole behind fuel pump in casting. Not where the pump mounts to engine block.
no performance issues at that time. I pulld the pump off and I can see where the "orange" gasket is starting to break down from the ethanol.
this is the second pump with that dam orange crap gaske!! I pulled a old pump of of my parts box and cleaned it up and its not leaking and doing fins so far.
that pump could be 10-20 yrs old and non ethanol rated.
where can I get a pump or gasket kit that is ethanol compliant.
as fas a sierra goes, been there done that..... orange gaskets....and part numbers dont match up easily...
