Fuel Pump for Force 125

I've been having problems with my force 125 not getting enough fuel. I wanna change it out to a fuel pump set-up, instead of the bulb. will it work for the starvation problem? and has anyone done it? and HOW? This motor is on a Bayliner Cobra 1988.

I just put a new diaphram in mine last weekend. It only took about 15 minutes. You shouldn't have a problem getting enough fuel if everything is working right and you don't have any leaks in the gas line, even a small air leak can pull in a good bit of air. I would get the stock fuel system working right instead of adding a pump.
