Fuel pump gasket

I am putting together my new to me Mercruiser MCM 230. It is a Chevy 305 engine that I got the long block from RapidoMarine. I didn't get the mechanical fuel pump spacer lined up correctly and had to pull it off and try again. I installed it with RTV sealant on both sides of the paper gasket. When I went to do another task I noticed that I had forgotten the paper gasket between the spacer and the fuel pump. What are the chances that I will have a leak with just RTV as my gasket? I have room in the boat to fix it if it leaks but if I know for a fact that it will leak I will go ahead and fix it now.
