I have a VRO2 fuel pump,BRP #5007420. That came out of a 1996 Johnson 130 hp, four stroke, oil injection, because I thought I had fuel pump problems, now maybe I think the problem may have been air leaks or fuel leaking from the fuel lines. A new pump has already been installed and after a few trips the same problems occurred. It was later discovered that it was a fuel leak in one of the fuel lines between the fuel pump and the carbs.
Is there anyway to test the original fuel pump to see if it is still good without re-installing it in the motor?
