Sup guys, Im starting to put hours finally on my new 408 sbc in my powerplay, but now curious if I should upgrade my fuel pump from the stock 350 to like a Holley 712-327-11 (110gph). I am running a edelbrock 750 with aluminum heads and a xm262 cam. Would this give any more performance?

Thanks!

Ayuh,.... Donno,.... is it runnin' outa gas,..??

I can't feature a 400 would need a pump bigger than the original,...

If it maintainin' 4/6 psi to the carb, the carb can't take anymore fuel,....

Btw,... the 750 cfm is kinda Big for a SBC,...

I think Im going to add a fuel pressure gauge on the engine just to check... not sure to go with a either liquid or air gauge...

Liquid gauges keep the needle from bouncing so much, and are usually a better gauge and cost a bit more; that being said I would just use the air one

If it's not running the carb out of gas at W.O.T. then I wouldn't bother.
