I had some issues this past weekend with my 4.3l 430A. Note this boat did sit for 4 yrs . I had some preventative maint done before I took it out. But any who, Boat fired right up, Idled it out till she warmed up, Got up on plane with no issues, I opened it up for about 2 mins and she died, started it back up without an issue got to half throttle and died again, now I looked over the motor and didn't see anything unusual so I started it up hit the gas and instantly died, than it fired back but died instantly .l got it towed back, and when I got home i put the muffs on to try it again. While in the driveway it ran awesome. Never Died. Im thinking its the diaphragm in the fuel pump, but not sure. If it is , can this be rebuil t? (Carter 0-2210) its a mechanical pump. Or do I need to replace it? Where do I find parts or a new pump? Don't really have a Volvo dealer too close to home. Or could this be something other than the pump that causing this? Thank you
