fuel pump question

i recently replaced the fuel pump on my 1987 Mercruiser 260hp V8. It had a carter electric fuel pump on it before and has one on their now. it works great, but i might have bought the wrong model. it looks identical to the old one. is this fuel pump ok for my motor?

Can find next to nothing about specifications on Carter fuel pumps, other then flow and pressure. In one listing I did find the 4389 list marine the 4070 did not. They are probably the same pump, but personally I don't see me installing something that could not be verified for a marine application.
