Fuel Pump Rebuild for '83 75 HP

I may need to replace/rebuild the fuel pump on my motor, I see the rebuild kits listed for about $20.00. I look at the pictured parts and it does not seem too complicated to rebuild but I always ask before tearing somthing apart, what am I getting into??

Not much to it. Just put it back together like you take it apart. Keep in mind you may or may not need all the parts that come with the kit.
