fuel pump

Hello i have 1979 85hp evinrude 859985r, When i was testing the fuel pump it was not pumping a constant flow

It works off of crankacase pulses, thus it will pulse, to some degree.

thanks djohns19. In my manual it said it should be a constant flow but I could not see how that was possible.
