Fuel Question on Evinrude

I have a quick question, I have about a quarter of a tank of gas left in my 12 gallon portable tank I use to fuel my evinrude engine with. I have looked inside the tank with the cap off and it is not gelled or jelly inside. This tank is unplugged from the engine right now. I was wondering if I got marine fuel stabiler and cleaner and put in it and toppled it off with fresh gas/oil would it make it fresh again or should I find a place (which I am not sure I can) and get rid of it? I don't want to put this in my vehicles or my lawnmower, weedeater, etc. Is there a place that would dispose of this if I had to get rid of it?

Forgot to say how long it has been in the tank. The last time I put fresh fuel in this tank was June 2004.

I would suggest that you drain it out and use it in a low load vehicle like your truck/car. Then start over with fresh in the boat.

Re: Fuel Question on Evinrude

Shouldnt. Not that small amount. Add it to an almost full tank in the car/truck and everything should be OK.
