I have a 2000 rinker Captiva 232 Melenium Edition with the 5.7L Merc. My fuel gauge is reading at half tank however when filling the boat up I had fuel come out leading me to believe it was full. Went up and turned key on and its at half tank. Where's the fuel tank/sender at? Thanks guys

Sender is in the tank. Follow the wire back from the dash guage. Dont know your boat but mine is at the end of the tank near the engine compartment

Might only be a half a tank (just another thought). If the vent is blocked or gas was coming is quicker than the vent was letting air out, you might only be half full. Pulling the sender and a visual inspection will identify your problem. D/C the battery first!

Is the tank vented to the outside of the boat or is there just a vent on top of the tank? My old rinker captiva 206 had a vent on the outside but have not seen one on this boat

The vent may be integrated into the fuel filler.
