fuel system

I have a 4.3l OMC 1987 in my ski boat. I have now gotten to going through the fuel system. The question I have is did the OMC originally come with the canister fuel filter assembly? mine does not have it now but seeing how the guy that had the boat jacked up the ignition, it would not surprise me that it did have one at one time. Also does someone know where I can get the fuel pump and the metal fuel line.

If you are referring to the Raycor water-separating filter, or similar, it probably wasn't standard -- but can be added easily anyway, and is a good idea. You can pick these up at this site, I'm sure, or Boat US and similar outlets -- probably also NAPA, who carries Sierra aftermarket marine products (including fuel pumps).
