Fuel Tank Type

I have an 1968 Aluminum Starcraft boat in the process of rebuilding, transom already done, working on the deck. I am looking to install a permanent below deck fuel tank, what is the better choice the aluminum tank or the plastic polyethylene tank.

Putter7557,<br /><br />My choice would be plastic. No corrosion worries ever.<br /><br />Since it will be below the deck, UV issues with plastics are non existant.
