fuel to oil ratio

I just bought a 1980 merc 20 hp could you please tell me the fuel ratio.I also have an old 3.6 merc don't know the year.It is a direct drive so could you please tell me the fuel ratio please.

The '80 20HP uses a 50:1 mix.

That is probably true for the 3.6 also, but without knowing the year I would use a 24:1 until I learned better.

thank you the guy I bought the 20 off said 20:1 and I thought that was way too much oil
