fuel/water kit

I need to install a fuel/water filter kit for my 88 omc chevy 5.0 but my question is how do I hook it up??? Like does the fuel line from the tank go to the kit then to the fuel pump then to the carb or does it go like fuel line goes to fuel pump then to the kit then yo the carb???

Goes from the tank to filter to pump to carb.

It goes to the filter first to protect your pump from any crud which may come from the tank

I have a filter so tank to filter to fuel pump to carb.... so should I keep the filter and do tank to fuel filter to fuel/water filter to fuel pump to carb or remove the fuel filter and just keep the fuel/water filter????

I didn't understand what you said, please clarify what it is you have?

I have one of them cheap glass fuel filter that I added cuz I installed a new fuel pump.... so do I need two filters or remove the glass fuel filter??

Sorry for taking so long to respond, been pretty busy.

You do not need two filters, the one canister filter is more then efficient, and meets all the requirements
