My boat has a 98 115 Johnson. The boat came with a factory installed Racor F&W separator, the small one that replacement filters cost around $85 on. My fuel lines are getting old and starting to crack so I plan on replacing them. While I am at it I thought of replacing that expensive Fuel & Water separator with a cheaper to maintain model. Does that make sense and what model might be recomended for that motor? I would think any 10 micron filter would do, or is there something I need to be aware of while shoping?
