Fuel water seperator question?

I am pretty new at doing maintenance myself, but want to start learning and doing more. I want to replace my fuel water/seperator on my parker. I believe it is located in bilge area. Do I just unscrew it and put new one on? If so, do i just take old one to store and match it up? Do I have to take off top bracket and hoses? Thanks for any help?

You change it just like an oil filter. When done prime it while holding the bulb in a vertical position (arrow pointing up) and it primes a lot easier.
