Hello - I'm looking for info on my fuse panel, trying to figure out what fuse goes to where, what fuse is needed, etc
I have my boat manual and engine manual, but nothing refers to fuses in there - is this boat specific? engine specific? any where I could look up my fuse panel and see what goes to what and what types of exact fuses I would need?

Each manufacture makes their panels different, only place to find this kind of info is at the manufacture. Most manufactures don't have it either for older models.

Here is a basic example, and any many cases this is better then you will find at the manufacture

Turn on one device at a time. Then remove fuses until that device turns off. Note the size and position of the fuse. Repeat for the other devices. Other than trolling motors, and accessory sockets, most other circuits can live nicely with 5 or 7.5 amp fuses. The fuses are there to protect the wiring -- not what that circuit is feeding. Why? Because it is the device that typically causes and over-current situation so it is already toast. A fuse rated less than the current carrying capacity of the wire therefore prevents melted insulation and fire. Since the boat is typically wired with 16 gauge wire, 10 amp or less fuses are fine for most circuits.
