Gale Buckeneer year?

My friend has an old Gale Buckeneer 12D13B 630309.<br /> He thinks is a 12 or 12.5 hp.<br /> He was guessing it is a 1963 year but wasn't sure on the year or the hp.<br />( 1 )Anyone know for sure the year and hp.?<br />( 2 )Can you still find parts for them?<br />( 3 ) Are they pretty good old motor's ?<br />Thanks,<br />Tony

It's a 1956 12hp.<br />Parts are still available. Most Johnson/Evinrude parts are the same and can be gotten thru your local NAPA autoparts.
