Galvonic isolation

Can any body tell me what the voltage and current max's are across the galvonic isolator? mine are reading 12V D.C. and 30 V. A.C. When i put a voltmeter on the disconnected lead of the isolator I read no resistance between them. Turning off my A.C. receptacle breakers the voltage goes away, yet I have nothing pluged in the receptacle My boat is in IT's cradle with these readings. My zinks seem to be eroding fast for lake Erie water. Any suggestions?

What brand isolator is it, and do you know if it has capacitors or not. If not here is a fairly simple test. "http://www.yandina.com/galvanicIsolator.htm
