Game Fisher 15-HP will not start

Have a Game Fisher 15-HP outboard model number 217.586331. Started up and ran fine. It set in storage for about 8 years and will not start.<br /><br />Replaced the plugs but does not get a spark. Cleaned all contacts, no spark.<br /><br />Gasline clear. Can not tell if gas gets to plug.<br /><br />What next? Does the SOLID STATE MAGNETO need to be replaced? (Part # 610958). If so, where can I get the part?

Did you check your kill switch? Try unplugging and see if you have spark.

Try sears.com under the parts link. Type in your model# and should give parts list and diagrams.

I have a brand new magnito, Sears sent me a extra one, if you find thats the problem. hapa@dslextreme.com
