gamefisher 15hp identification ???

Hello everyone. new to this forum and boating in general so please bare with me.

I recently picked up a gamefisher 15hp that i knew did not run, one coil does not fire. Very common issue from what i have read so far. The problem i am having is trying to identify the year and model number. There is no id plate that i can find. Going off part numbers and googled pictures, i am gathering it is an 87-91 model. Can anyone explain what i need to look for to help narrow it down? i have pictures just need to figure out how to load.

Welcome.
On the block is a foundry stamp. The center of the stamp is the year.
Also under the rear cowl is foundry stamp.
You can't post pics till you get some more posts but send me an e-mail in a PM and I'll post them for you.
A pic is worth a whole bunch of words(or something like that)

Thank you sir. I'll try and clean the block off and see if I can find that stamp. Once I get those, I'll PM you with some pictures
