Gamefisher 3.0, stuck prop

Hey, bought a fixer up'r gamefisher, cleaned it up and got it running in a bucket and the last step would be to replace the oil in the lower end. I removed the cotter pin and greased the exposed shear pin/prop atea, and have bin hitting it with a piece of wood but it won't budge. I took off the hex bolts trying to peel back the prop shaft plate but it won't budge either. With the hex bolts out and outboard up right would oil leak from the gears? Could I pour oil through the hex bolt holes to submerge the gears?

Any reply's are greatly appreciated, I scan through threads on this forum all the time but couldn't find one specific to this problem.

you may have to cut the prop off. there is a reason it is recommended to at a minimum to remove the prop annually and grease the shafts
