Gamefisher 7.5 fuel mix ratio?

I recently bought a 14 ft Jon boat with this Sears Gamefisher 7.5 hp outboard motor. The engine (1988) is old but it seems to be in good condition with minimal operation. I am not sure what is the fuel mix ratio for it. I used 32:1 and it ran great with not much smoke. The model is 225.581750 and I think it made by Force.

Thanks,

Are you sure of the model number?225 usually does indicate a Force motor but I don't find a 7.5 Force listed at all. the 88 5hp and 9.9 are listed at 50:1
32:1 won't hurt anything just a little more smoky.

Yes, the model number starts with 225.581750 and maybe it made by Mercury. I might try 50:1 next time and see the different. Thanks for the reply.

Actually your fuel mix won't affect performance except more or less smoke.
Of course if too lean you could ruin the motor.
