Anyone know where I can get my motor service. Bought it a year ago, and never had it in the water. Would like to get it out this year, but before I do it, I would like to get it checked out. And also where can I get a manual for this motor? Sears doesn't carry them anymore. Thanks in advance.

Re: Gamefisher 7.5 motor

The 1-800 number for sears should be able to locate a manual and parts. Some outboard shops will take in that motor for a routine service. Most larger Sears stores have a small engine shop that I would think would be more than happy to service a motor sold by sears. If you can find someone around the store that's been there a few years (connected with the lawnmower dept?) they should be able to redirect you as to where you might be able to take it.

Maybe the guys at http://certifiedpartscorp.com/

might be able to help you out with parts, a manual, and maybe even someone locally that works on them.

Re: Gamefisher 7.5 motor

Hi--I have an 86 5HP Gamefisher and I have the manual which covers 5 and 7.5 HP. If you have need of specific info please let me know; or I could probably photocopy and send it to you. Mostly it's useful as a parts number resource. Sears has an 800 number that I called to order a fuel pump element; they can also tell you if your local Sears has the parts. (Mine did.) FYI the powerhead is Tecumseh, and the fuel pump element had a Tecumseh P/N--probably lots of parts available thru Tecumseh if you can't find a Sears to help you. Let me know if I can help.
