Hey guys need some help. Just replaced coil pack on gamefisher 9.9. One of the screws is plastic with a plastic washer. Does that washer go on before the wires?

The parts diagrams I see don't have the detail needed to show plastic screws :(

Post some pics, maybe someone has something they can compare??

I found a diagram that showed where it went, ty. Another question though. My motor is still not running correctly. I noticed that magnets on flywheel are cracked and missing pieces. Assuming that's my problem?

It will not run at full throttle, thus won't come close to planing my boat out. But every once in awhile it's like it just kicks in and will. I'm confused though cause last night when I took it out again I would kink the fuel hose and it would run full throttle and plane out, of course till it would consume what gas there was

I took carb off, cleaned everything up. It was very clean already. Also I just redid the fuel pump cause the diapram was cracked

What's the serial number off the outboard?

Sounds like you have a bad coil, dropping out and coming back to life. Some of the Gamefisher parts are NLA, but there are some alternatives. I replaced the ignition system on my 7.5HP Gamefisher (Force) outboard with a CDI kit, due to the symptoms you're describing, been working flawlessly since.
