GAMEFISHER...how old is it...

i have a 3.0 hp gamefisher...how do i read the serial numbers to see how old the motor is...
here they are

298-586191.... tx

The motor is a Tanaka, indicated by the 298 prefix 58619 is the 3 hp.
Based on the TOB 300
I checked this out by putting in tanaka 3 hp on google you may find more info at sears.com.as well.
