I have a Garmin GPSMAP182C and use a Southwest Florida Blue Chart Data Card (NOT SD) and it is old. Buoys are not in the correct positions and channels have been added/changed. Is there any update available that can be done, or am I buying a new GPS unit to get this done. I see where Garmin has some sort of rebate on old data cards, but the replacement is an SD or microSD, which won't work in my unit. Thanks for any help you can provide.

The data cards have been are obsolete for quite sometime. You might get lucky and find a newer release on E-bay but that's it.

Get the geo-coords of the buoys and input as waypoints. I use 3 different inlets in NC that have buoys moved at least once a year, if not more often. No way does any chart source keep up with that, plus charts just don't change that much year over year, which is what BlueCharts are based on ...
