Hi all, first post - my appologies if this should be in a different group. My brother inlaw recently misplaced the gas cap for our 2009 bayliner 175 bowrider (no clue how).
Could anyone recommend where I could find a replacement (Canadian if possible but American would do as well) or even just a part number. Our dealer said he needed the measurement but I dont have that on hand. I'm hoping to have a replacement before I make the journey back to where the boat is kept.
Thanks so much to anyone who might have some insight

Does the receptacle for the gas cap have any markings (model number, name, etc.)? Most of those are made by someone other than the boatmaker, so there is a good chance you could get a replacement if you know who made the assembly.

:welcome: to iBoats . . .

Do a search of 'Marine Gas Caps' online . . . you may recognize the type of cap that you had, unless it is 'branded', not generic.

Put your BIL on beer rations for the summer as punishment. :yell:
