I have a 1997 Johnson 150, I have just installed a new fuel pump, but now when cranked the motor gas is overflowing in the throat of one of the carbs the middle one any suggestions. the others are fine. when you look in the carb its like a overflow that sticks up in the middle of carb

Re: Gas flooding

Its possible that carb sucked some crud in and the float is stuck open.

Re: Gas flooding

Do I need to take it off and clean it or do you think it needs the float adjusted

Take it off and service it, may as well do the others while you are at it.
I am on the "stuck float" page as well.
