gas gauge problems

Just bought a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke, After the boat was rigged I noticed that my gas guage was flashing( bottom Bar)Put a new sending unit in and have the same problem. Thought that marina may have messed up the lead wire. Is this possible? If so , what color is the wire? Thanks

Was your tank really empty?<br /><br />1997 200 SW II on a 1997 Sea Pro 23.5 WA<br /><br />I have a similar problem. My electronic gauge says almost empty (next bottom bar flashing)yet the 120 gl tank will take only 65 gl?<br /><br />I have not pulled the tank sending unit.<br />I have a analog Yamaha fuel gauge which does not read anything.<br /><br />How do you calabrate the electronic gauge?
